We need to raise around $20,000 to ensure that conference is a success and that we can present a number of Draft Declarations on Animals and on Elephants to the Conference. These will be the basis for future discussion on the rights and roles of animals in ASEAN.
Costs: $6,000 for venue hire (Le Meridien Hotel for 2 days)
$10,000 to sponsor speakers from ASEAN countries to attend
$4,000 to prepare background research reports on Elephant Laws and Policies in the 10 ASEAN Countries and to draft legislation on animal protection and prevention of animal cruelty laws.
Would you be able to donate $150 (or $200) to help us protect animals in Asia?
We are able to provide a tax invoice for sponsorship from the Asian Research Institute for Environmental Law ACN 622 725151. We have also set up a GOFUNDME page to collect smaller donations. The web site for the conference registration page and the GOFUNDME page is at the bottom of the email (you may have to cut and paste).
If you would be able to directly sponsor the workshop, we can prepare a tax invoice for direct debit or using a credit card via Paypal.
The Conference Guide will list all supporter and sponsors. All sponsors will be thanked during the conference. And of course, the animals will be grateful too!
